Brent co-founded The Hagen Firm in 1999 with his father Norm. As a partner, his responsibilities include providing strategic direction to the firm as well as maintaining The Hagen Firm's core vision and mission, which is to provide business and financial guidance and the firm's business and individual clients. Brent's areas of expertise include business and tax consulting for small businesses in a variety of industries, individual income tax consulting, and financial statement preparation and analysis. He began his career in public accounting in 1986 with KPMG.
Brent graduated from the University of Washington with a B.A. in Business Administration. He is a member of the AICPA, Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Rotary Club of Edmonds. Away from the office, Brent enjoys golf, running, backpacking, and spending time with his family.
