Doug became a member of The Hagen Firm in 2001. Doug's primary expertise is in business tax, business accounting, business consulting, and controllership services with clients over a wide range of industries. In addition, he works on high income individual tax preparation, tax planning, and new business start-ups. Prior to joining the firm, Doug spent 19 years in the seafood industry in Alaska and the Central Pacific.
He graduated from Central Washington University with a Bachelor of Science in accounting. Doug is a member of the AICPA and the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants. When he is not in the office, he enjoys hiking, backpacking and camping with his wife and children, serving in the ministry with his church, movies, traveling and boating.
